Louise Bauer Davoli, MSW is the Principal Coach for the Minerva Group, Inc. Ms. Bauer Davoli is a graduate of the New Agreements Coach Training Institute and focuses on coaching for enlightened leadership. As a New Agreements Coach, Louise works with professionals seeking to enhance their lives, careers, and organizations and shift their systems. At the heart of Louise’s style and philosophy is the powerful relationship between coach and client. Coaching for enlightened leadership is for individuals and organizations being pulled by a desire to shift organizational culture and systems through individual growth. Louise has nearly 20 years of leadership roles and project management experience with health and human service issues at the national level and as a consultant. Prior to establishing The Minerva Group, Inc., Louise managed the Adolescent and School Health Project for the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL). Louise has experience with leadership and staff development, research, data collection, policy analysis, grant writing, budget management, and meeting and conference planning. She has excellent interpersonal skills along with solid written and oral presentation skills. Ms. Bauer earned a Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver with an emphasis in public policy, program evaluation, strategic planning, program development and grant writing. Her undergraduate studies, completed at the University of Colorado, focused on adolescence and criminology. Ms. Bauer Davoli has also completed a one-year leadership development program focusing on education public policy offered by the Institute for Educational Leadership.
Jerry Davoli, PhD, MPH, CHES is the Principal Behaviorist for the Minerva Group, Inc. Dr. Davoli has over 30 years of experience in health education, organizational development, leadership training, and program evaluation. He has worked in both the public and private sector, and was the Principal Consultant for Integrated Health Systems for 20 years. Dr. Davoli has written and presented on a number of public health issues such as health education curriculum development, alcohol and drug abuse prevention and treatment, leadership skills training seminars, organizational and community development, group dynamics, and building collaborative partnerships. Jerry has consulted on program development, implementation and evaluation with national organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Big Brothers / Big Sisters, National Conference of State Legislatures, National PTA, and the United State Public Health Service Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Davoli earned his PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, School of Public Health. He earned his MPH from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health and his undergraduate degree in Social Welfare from California State University, Long Beach.
Melissa K. Hough, MSW is a Principal Coach for the Minerva Group, Inc. Melissa is a graduate of the New Agreements Coach Training Institute and she earned a Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver with an emphasis in health policy. Melissa spent eight years at a national, nonprofit organization focusing on numerous health and human service public policy issues, working closely with elected officials and staff to develop and implement policy in states, planning large events, writing various publications, testifying for state legislatures and managing a large federal grant. Ms. Hough also has experience at a community college managing a federal Student Support Services Grant for three campuses. Making the decision to follow her interest in business, she went to experience a Fortune 500 company for six years where she served in roles ranging from issues management, strategic planning, government affairs, corporate affairs, corporate responsibility, responsible retailing and contributions. Melissa managed numerous, staff, multi-million dollar budgets, and multiple significant national business initiatives. Her primary focus for the past three years has been on working with leading, national youth-serving organizations to enhance their leadership and organizational capability and measurement systems. Melissa’s personal and professional focus is on the importance of enlightened leadership at all levels of an organization as the most effective and efficient form of empowerment and growth, for both the employee as well as the organization. Her 15 years of combined private and public sector experience enables her to provide clients with a holistic perspective and comprehensive insights.
